Let me say this straight out that LinkedIn is not the answer for every business. For traditional brick and mortar businesses like a flower shop, LinkedIn isn’t for you and you would be better served building a relationship with potential customers on Facebook and Twitter. For IT companies selling a product or service to IT professionals it’s a goldmine.
I’m going to assume you have a basic personal profile already and get straight to getting you leads.

When you log-in to LinkedIn you are directed to the home page. At the top of the screen you will see your picture and a box to share your message to everyone you are connected with on LinkedIn.
